NIGERIAN Muslims have been urged to emulate the obedience and perseverance nature of Prophet Ibrahim and his son, Prophet Ismail during these hard times in the country.
The advise was given during the Khutbah session of the Eid prayer held at Ijaiye Housing Estate Muslim Community praying ground, LSDPC Housing Estate, Pen Cinema, Agege, Lagos.
Speaking after the prayers, the Imam-in-charge of the Muslim Community stated that Eid prayer isn’t alien to Islam, saying it is in commemoration of the historic event of obedience and sacrifice displayed by Prophets Ibrahim and Ismail.
He encouraged Muslim faithful to celebrate the festive season within the limits of Islam as alcohol and all forms of other haram activities should be shunned.
He prayed for restoration of peace I the world and economic rebirth of Nigeria.
