The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria  has emphasised that education is the only tool that can be used to keep Nigerians together.
The Amir (President) of MSSN in Lagos State, Dr. Saheed Ashafa, while reacting to President Muhammadu Buhari’s address on Monday commended the President for what he described as ” focused and inclusive speech”
He applauded the President for accepting that there are legitimate concerns and grievances.
He however stressed that there must be sincere moves and actions to address the concerns of genuine agitations.
He said, “We hereby advise every individuals and groups who are making hate speeches and embarking on activities capable of deepening  divides in the country to desist from such unwholesome acts.
“However, the President should have acknowledged the challenges facing education, especially ongoing ASUU strike.
Ashafa therefore emphasised that the only practicable and enduring panacea to the perennial problems is a functional education.
Ashafa further dissuades individuals and groups who are making hate speeches from such unwholesome acts.
