READ THE ADDRESS OF THE NEW AMIR TO THE AREA COUNCIL’S MEMBERS:
Dear members,
TOGETHET WE CAN ACHIEVE MORE!
All praises belong to Allah the all-encompassing majesty.
Brethren, it is time for us all to take the challenge, for us to be the change we want to see and for us to work together to take our prestigious Area Council, Alimosho to a greater height.
This is not necessarily a time for congratulations or celebration, it is time to think, work and make things happen. Truly, the condition of a man will only change when what is in the heart changes, likewise the society.
This is clearly expressed in the book of Allah, Quran 13 vs 11 “…God does not change the condition of a nation unless it changes what is in its heart…”.
As members of this council, we have an individual responsibility to reform ourselves spiritualy, academically and morally, then call others to do so.
As Muslim teachers and mentors, we owe Allah the responsibility to work towards bringing out the best in the students by collaborating progressively with the council.
We are in need of the continuous support from our patrons and well wishers, those who offer us finance and advise us on moving the society forward. Let us continue to support the cause of Allah through the Council and do more.
Indeed, this is a New Dawn and we must all be set for work.
