The Chief Imam of Lagos, Shaykh Sulaimon Oluwatoyin Abou Nolla on Friday received Muslim Staff members of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporations (NDIC) Lagos Branch at the Lagos Central Mosque Conference Hall.

The delegation have come for a special Jumu’at and prayer service to mark their 30th years Anniversary of the establishment of the body.

The Bashorun of Lagos Central Mosque Alhaji Sikiru Alabi Macfoy who spoke on behalf of the Executive Council welcomed the team to Lagos Central Mosque and prayed that they would continue to prosper in their chosen career.

Representative of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation thank the Imam and all executive members of the mosque for the warmth welcome and acceptance.

His Eminence, in his Friday sermon reminded the congregation the basis for speaking truth in the light of the Qur’an and Ahadith of the Prophet (SAW). He said speaking truth is not just a virtue in Islam but a religious obligation which all Muslims must abide with.

The programme came to an end with prayer from Baba Adinni of Lagos, Shaykh Abdul Hafiz Abou.

In attendance is Olori Ratibi, Shaykh Tijani Abiodun Gbajabiamila, Alfa Agba of Lagos, Shaykh Mujtaba Giwa, Alawiye of Lagos, Shaykh Shakirudeen Mofeshaiye and hosts of other Imam Ratibi.
