The Council of Higher Institutions (COHI) is set to hold this year’s edition of her Capacity Building Course (CBC).
CBC is an annual event to expose and train her members on economic empowerment and entrepreneurship.
This year’s edition themed “Between Employability and Entrepreneurship” is focused on exposing participants to options available in either gainfully employed or swerving into the available entrepreneurship schemes, looking into the pros and cons of both.
Speaking on the event, the Coordinator of the council, AbdulWasi’ Fasanya, stated that “The theme is strategically chosen considering the economic downturn of the country amidst the multitude of students graduating from various institutions of learning.
“There is no doubt that these graduates are entering into an already filled-up labour market where there exists unavailable jobs.
“We aim to enlighten them on chosing a right path between seeking employment or being self-employed, he stated.
The event which will feature lectures, discussions, Human Resource Forum, Entrepreneurs Roundtable, amongst others had been scheduled to hold at Michael Otedola College of Primary Education (MOCPED), Noforija, Epe on 28th August, 2016.
