The Nasir Giwa Mentorship (NGM) Platform has felicitated with the Muslim Ummah, on the occasion of the 1442AH/2021 Eid-ul-Adha.

Speaking on behalf of the Mentors and Mentees, the Grand Mentor of the platform, Engr Nasir Giwa noted the festival is one which its lessons should not be overlooked but put into practice.

In his words, “On behalf of the mentors and mentees of the Nasir Giwa Mentorship (NGM) Platform, we felicitate with the Muslim Ummah across the globe, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha for the year 1442AH/2021. This, undoubtedly, is a mercy and favour from Allah bestowed on us all, as many wished to but could not, because it is not in their power.

“Activities that preceded the day, and lessons inherent, are in no way little to overlook, especially in the life of Prophet Ibrahim, Alayhi Salam. He was an epitome of selflessness, patience, unity, sacrifice, love, submissiveness and did plan for the future. All of these attributes of his got rewarded by Allah and he was elevated to the rank of the ‘Friend of Allah.”

He further calls for continuous prayer for the country and plead for continuous unity of all, regardless of religion, ethnic and ideology, in face of its trials.

“For our dear country, this is a trying time. Inspite of the various challenges, I urge us to keep praying for our dear country, Nigeria and leaders and sue for peace, harmony and tranquillity. Our core principle is to live with others with love, peace, mercy and compassion. These are the tenets our religion has established for us.

“In face of the third wave of the COVID-19, let us celebrate the ‘Eid in moderation, optimum security-consciousness and adherence to the COVID-19 precautionary measures. May Allah, in His Infinite mercies, accept all our good deeds, forgive our shortcomings and trespassings and reward us abundantly in this world, and Al-Jannah Firdaus in thereafter. Aamiin
