Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, has recently taken to Twitter to express his philosophical views in a variety of posts.
Since being passed over for a ministerial position in President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet, El-Rufai appears to have found a new lease of life, sharing anything from life lessons to musical lyrics.
iWitness gathered that the former governor on Tuesday expressed his opinion about the only kind of lie for which people are penalised on Twitter.
El-Rufai made the argument that the lies people really get punished for are the ones they tell themselves by quoting Nobel Laureate V.S. Naipaul.

Recall that on Sunday, the former governor did the same thing, using the microblogging platform Twitter to tweet a song’s lyrics by well-known reggae musician Bob Marley that discussed friendship, trust, and treachery.
Sharing the lyrics, El-Rufai wrote: “Bob Marley of blessed memory is one of most talented musicians of all time. My love for reggae music is connected with his songs and music.
