Former governor of Kaduna, Nasir El-Rufai has warned the Economic Community of West African States against her proposed military intervention in Niger.

The African body had, on Thursday, vowed to deploy standby forces to repel the military junta that had overthrown the democratically-elected president.

iWitness has reported that military men successfully staged a coup and ousted President Muhammad Bazoum’s government in Niger on the 26th of July, 2023.

The former governor sounded a warning on his X platform(formerly Twitter)
