Two delegates at the ongoing April Islamic Vacation Course (IVC) of the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Lagos State Area Unit, Mainland Zone, who found an undisclosed sum of money have been commended for returning the cash to the camp authorities.
In a statement by the Director, Mainland Zone of the April IVC, the camp authority expressed satisfaction at the conduct, urging other delegates to imbibe the moral standard in their lives.
The said delegates Habeebulah Abdul Malik and Abdullah Alaya attend Mobolaji Bank Anthony Junior High School and Morroco Junior High School respectively.
The dou, who are friends from Yaba Area Council, told our correspondent that they found the money in the hostel during the personal and general cleaning session on Day 2 of the camp.
One of the delegates, Abdullah said he found the money and then confided in his long-time friend, Habeebullah – who he met at the HTC 2018 of MSSN Lagos – and both reached a compromise to return the money.
The delegates said their mothers have always taught them not to take other people’s money or personal belongings.
They further said their mothers had told them respectively, that whoever takes someone else’s belongings would be compelled to return it to the rightful owner on the day of Judgement.
