The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria, ikeja Area Council held her Annual Electoral Conference on Sunday July 11, 2020 to usher in new set of individuals to manage the affairs of the Council.
The conference was held on Zoom due to government restrictions on social gathering. The Guest Lecturer, Engr Luqman Balogun emphasized on the recipes of effective leadership to attain desired results. He charged the new appointed executives to be humble, communicate often and make individual and collective sacrifices.
The most awaited moment of the conference set in immediately after setting motions, adoptions and recommendations from members to foster the affairs of the Council to another level as set by the pioneers. Mallam AbdulWasiu Balogun, the Shurah Chairman, dissolved the outgoing executives under the leadership of Chief Muhyideen Imran . He sought Allah’s forgiveness for them and showed appreciation for their efforts.

After the Announcement, Mallam Ibrahim Oluokun gave the acceptance speech, and implore member for support and dua.
He also said, it’s not time to congratulate the new exco until the job is delivered, he the ask for Allah’s guidance on the new post.
