The was contained in a statement issued in Birnin Kebbi Wednesday, signed by Alhaji Abubakar Dakingari, the Chief Press Secretary to Gov. Atiku Bagudu.

Dakingari stated that “placing Kebbi in Category A is in accordance with  a letter sent to Gov Bagudu by the Secretary of the commission, Dr Mohammed Tambuwal.

He added that with the placement in Category ‘A’, Kebbi could now participate in organising the lesser Hajj (Umrah).”
