The Ogun State Government has given consent to the usage of hijab by pupils in the state.

iWitness NG exclusively gathered that the State’s Commissioner for Education gave the nod to the hijab usage.

This happened at a meeting, just concluded, between officials of the State and Muslims’ delegation.

“White Hijab has been approved for all pupils who wished to use it,” another source in the meeting said.

This was also confirmed in a message by Amir, MSSN Ogun State Area Unit, Amisu Kayode Saheed.

“Alhamdulilah! We just concluded meeting with hon commissioner for education and Hijab usage for our secondary students is sealed. This is done without litigation. We thank the state government. I very happy,” the message read.
