Let’s Build a Peaceful Community Together
I want to congratulate the entire youth of Alimosho on the international youth day, the Not too young to run achievement and the numerous positive impact the youth have been making locally and globally.
Our youth must take the 21st century challenge, we must not be left behind in creativity, innovation, problem solving and positive impact. There is no doubt, those who have changed the world with their theory or work achieve it as a youth. Bill Gate, Mark Zuckerberg and a host of others contribute immensely to solving the technology challenges as a youth.
Benjamin Disraeli confirm this when he says “Almost Everything that is great has been done by youth”. What great thing are you, youth of Alimosho working on!
They are myriad of security challenges facing the world, that is why this year International Youth Day theme is “youth Building Peace”. Young people captures over 70% of Alimosho, we must ensure our community is peaceful, say no to thuggery, robbery, pick pocketing, domestic violence, sexual violence and all form of immoralities.
I want to use this opportunity to call on all the youth in Alimosho to embrace peace, to work together with this administration so that we can build our dream Alimosho together. Let us get educated, learn a trade, be innovative, creative and break new grounds.
Once again, I congratulate you all on this day as you celebrate the international youth day. We are youth and useful.
