A​bout 3036 out of the state 4930 pilgrims have so far been airlifted for this year Hajj, the spokesman of the state pilgrims welfare board Badaru Karofi has said.

Speaking on the airlift exercise on Saturday, Karofi noted so far about 6 flights were recorded from the state saying that the remaining 1,894 pilgrims will all be airlifted withing the available time.

According to him, the state is preparing its 7th flight as at today Saturday adding that we have not recorded any death as all our pilgrims are in good condition.

He said, about 560 pilgrims are expected to be part of the 7th flight adding that things are going on smoothly as expected just as he called for patience and commitment from all towards successful Hajj operation.
