Kidnappers of the former National Amir of Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Mallam Muhammed Maidoki, have released him and his family members.

They were released on Tuesday, according to numerous sources.

One of the sources, B Zone Amir of the MSSN, Mushafau Alaran in a social media broadcast wrote, “Alhamdulillah, Mallan Maidoki and his family finally have been freed from captivity.

“Thank you all for your prayers, understanding and support.”

National Public Relations Officer of MSSN, wrote, “This is to intimate our teeming members and Nigerians across the country on the abduction of our Mentor and Leader, Engr : Muhammad Lawal Maidoki, your Prayers are seriously and Highly needed as Malam Lawal Maidoki is abducted by kidnappers on his way to Kaduna from Minna, after attending an International Peace Conference organized by Religious for Peace.

“He was last seen in Abuja from Sunday to the morning of Wednesday during the Interrnational Conference.

“Maidoki is a Bridge Builder who is an advocate for Peaceful Co-existence and Inter Religious harmony, he is a former National President of Muslim Students Society of Nigeria, a former National President of the National Council of Musli$ Youth Organizations, a Former co-chairman of the Youth wing of NIGERIA INTER RELIGIOUS YOUTH COUNCIL (NIREC LET) presently he’s the National President of the Da’wah Coordination Council of Nigeria, Chairman of the Sokoto State Zakah Commission.

“He was kidnapped together with his wife Ummu-khulsum, Younger Sister, Hafsatu Maidoki and His younger Brother’s Wife Aisha.”
