The United League of Imams and Alfas of Aguda Community in Surulere have concluded plans to mark this year’s Hijrah 1441 AH with special prayers for peace and stability of the country.

They also plan to embark on procession around major streets in the area tomoro Friday with students from Arabic schools to sensitive the public on the importance and significance of Hijrah in Islam.

According to the United League of Imams and Alfas, there is every need for Nigerians to come together and rescue the country from insecurity ravaging most parts of the country.

They said Nigerians irrespective of religion and tribe must be steadfast is ensuring that nothing affects the unity of the country.

On Hijrah 1441 AH, they were of the view that Muslims must be of good conduct and set a yardstick for people of other faith to follow.

The Special Prayers will hold on Friday August 30th at Aguda Central Mosque on Soloki street by 4pm.
