A Nigerian, Aliyu Musa, built an aircraft drone by himself.
He said that his dream has always been to become a pilot and his love for aircraft made him get into trouble when he was younger because he would draw an aircraft on people’s buildings.
Musa said that he started by building aircraft with trash cans and would even trek to the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology to get a closer look of aircraft and watch how the aircraft took off and landed.
He said that he met a friend, Sadiq Muhammed, who also loved aircraft and followed him to the Aviation College to watch the aircraft fly and also meet some of the engineers who put them through on how to build an aircraft.
Talking about his achievement of building an aircraft drone, he said he had already given up on his dream because of lack of money to attend an aviation school until his friend, Sadiq, called him and told him about his new research on how to build an aircraft drone.
