Alhaji Sulaiman Oluwatoyin Abou-Nollah has emerged as the Chief Imam of Lagos. 

Here are things to know about him:

●He is the 1st Graduate to emerge as Lagoa State Chief Imam

●He is 42 years old.
● Until his new appointment, he is the Acting Imam of Ike-Oluwa Mosque, Surulere, Lagos.
●He shall be turbaned as 10th Chief Imam of Lagos, at the Lagos Central Mosque on Friday, December 15th.

●The new Chief Imam is from the Oko Awo based, Nollah Chief Imamship Family of Lagos.
● His mother is a descendant of Oba Eshilokun.
● He is a graduate of Electrical-Electronics Engineering, from the prestigious University of Ilorin.
●He is presently, a Principal Electrical Enginer in Grade Level 12 Officer, of the Lagos State Civil Service.
● He is one of the brains behind the successes of Governor Ambode’s “Light Up Lagos” project.

●He successfully attended one of the foremost Arabic and Islamic Institute, Daru-Dawat Wal-Irishad, an Islamic Institute, based in Isolo, Lagos, established by late Sheikh Mustapha Soglulu), where he obtained his Idadiyah (Primary) and Thannawiyah (Secondary) certificates in Arabic and Islamic studies between 2000-2006.

●The new Chief Imam, in 2016 registered as a member of Nigerian Society of Engineer and this year was admitted as a full member of the highly acclaimed and respected Council of Nigerian Registered Engineers (COREN).
