Members of the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria, Abuja branch were involved in a ghastly accident.
While the Amir died, others were injured.
It was gathered that they were involved in the accident while going to participate in a quiz competition.
The accident occurred at Borno Express, Hawan Fanshanu Jos-Bauchi road.
A statement by the Auwalu Yunusa, National Secretary General of MSSN read, “The National Headquarters of the MSSN, in full submission to the will of Allah, hereby announces that the National PRO who doubles as A Zonal Quiz Coordinator (Brother Muhammad Bukar Grema) , along side other and sisters, were involved in a ghastly motor accident, a head-on collision with Borno Express bus , near Toro in Bauchi state on their way from the just-concluded Zonal Quiz and other Competitions held at Bauchi Sports Village.
“We are afflicted with the death of Brother Jameel, the Amir of Abuja Municipal Area Council. Those with severe injuries have been rushed to Teaching /Specialist Hospital in Bauchi. Others are receiving treatment at the General Hospital, Toro. Your prayers are highly needed at this trying time.”
