Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has dissolved its executive cabinet in Ogun State.
This was contained in the report of a meeting held on Sunday among members of the organisation in Ogun State.
The meeting was coordinated by the Chairman of the State MURIC Shurah Committee Ustaz Tajudeen Jimoh.
There were ten (10) Members in attendance and the two-third Shurah Committee Members was present at the meeting
.
After much deliberation on the current state of the MURIC in Ogun State and the stagnation of activities, it was unanimously agreed to dissolve the present Ogun State MURIC executives while the Shurah Committee will be taking over the activities of the MURIC for the next Six (6) months.
The statement to dissolve read thus “By the power confer on me as the Chairman of MURIC Shurah Committee, The MURIC State Executives is hereby dissolved today 21st of October, 2018.
“No Executive Member is suspended, we are all remaining as Brothers in Islam”.
The Chairman of the Shurah Committee will serve as an Acting MURIC Chairman for the State while the processing of electing substantial Executives will also be continue with the Shurah Committee Members.
Then Mr. Tajudeen Uthman and Brother Adam Salaudeen were added to be part of the Shurah Committee Members.
Shurah Committee will continue their major task of appointing State Executives.
