The Assistant Missioner of Ansar-ud-deen Society of Nigeria, Ebute Metta Branch, Alhaji Imam Uthman Alli-Adua, has urged muslims to spend in the cause of Allah to gain paradise in return.
He disclosed this in a fund raising organised by Division One of the branch on the 10th of November, 2019.
“There are lot of ways someone can gain paradise such as: observing a lot of voluntary solat, waking up in the midnight for prayer but the most important of it all is spending in the cause of Allah.”
He said muslims should turn up with something tangible when called to assisted the cause of Allah.
“Some people are just given paradise for free in the sense that they responded with something tangible to the cause of Allah when being called,” Alli-Adua said.
In his opening remarks, the Chairman, Division One of Ansar-ud-deen Society of Nigeria, Ebute Metta Branch, Alhaji Munirudeen Adenekan, said muslims should assist the cause of Allah through ADS, adding that it is what the society uses in propagating Islam.
In her goodwill message, the Chief Executive Officer of Arabel, Alhaja Sherifah Andu, advised parents to take care of their children so as to be beneficial to the society.
Speaking on health issue at the occasion, Dr. Ridwan Adeniyi Seriki of Lagos General Hospital, Odon said that millions of people die yearly of hypertension due to lack of control of the disease.
“Hypertension can be controlled but most of the people that have it do not know to control it”.
He stressed that people above the age of fourty years should be doing check up at least once in a year in order to know the state of their health.
He however said that people should do away with salty foods in order not to contract hypertension
