In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO ALL MUSLIMS LAW STUDENTS IN NIGERIA ON THE CELEBRATION OF EID-UL-ADHA

All praise belongs to Allah. May His peace and benevolence be showered upon the noble prophet Muhammad our master and role model (SAW), his household, his companions and the generality of the Muslim Ummah till the end of time.

With reference to the confirmation by the Saudi Arabia Government and the proclamation by the Amirul Mu’mineen – Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar II, the Sultan of Sokoto and the President, Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs that, the day of Arafah was sunday, 11th September, 2016 and today Monday, 12th September, 2016 is the day of Eid-ul-Adha, I therefore congratulate all Muslims law students in Nigeria on this faithful day on the celebration of Eid-ul-Adha.

I call on Muslims to be moderate in their celebration, as today is in commemoration of the endurance of the Father of Faith, Prophet Ibrahim (ASW). As we celebrate this Eid, let us always remember that, it is a feast of self-sacrifice, commitment and Obedience to Allah, as such Muslims should not transgress the limit of Allah.

I equally urge the Muslim students in Nigeria to continuously imbibe the lessons leading to the Eid festival, such as the display of patience, fortitude, tolerance, endurance, patriotism and a greater willingness to make personal sacrifices for the good of all as we celebrate today.

The Nigeria Association of Muslim Law Students ( NAMLAS) executive members remind all members that they should see themselves as ambassadors of Islam and that of the Association to always put on there best behavior as Allah Himself informed us of the good behavior and attitude of the prophet Muhammad, we need to emulate our master.

I want us all to pray for the growth of the Association and it’s leaders. My prayer as we celebrate today’s eid, is that Allah will fill your heart with faith and hope, your life with peace and comfort, your home with love and serenity and may He grant you the good of this world and hereafter.

I also use this medium to call on all Nigerians to be patient with the President Muhammad Buhari led Administration, with regards to the economic recession in the Country. The NAMLAS National share in your pains and therefore seek your support, patience and Prayer for the success of this Administration as we believe that after every hardship comes ease.

Wishing you and your loved ones a very happy and prosperous Eid. May Allah continue to shower His blessings upon you, grace you with joy and happiness always and ease the sufferings and pains of Muslims all over the World.

EID-IL-MUBARAK!!!
