The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Command in Kano state says it plans to collaborate with the State Hisbah Board towards addressing illicit drug consumption in the state.
The state’s Commandant of the NDLEA, Alhaji Ibrahim Abdul made this known while receiving the Commander General of the Hisbah Board,  Sheik Harun Ibn -Sinah in his office in Kano.

This was contained in a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Board, Alhaji Lawal Ibrahim on Wednesday in Kano.

Ibrahim expressed satisfaction with the strong working relationship and mutual understanding existing between NDLEA and the board.

“I am assuring you that our working relationship will continue to be sustained, the issue of drug abuse is a serious matter that has to be addressed to save our future generation.
“We will continue to pray for the successful discharge of your  responsibilities,”  he said.

Earlier,  Ibn-Sinah said they were at the NDLEA office to register their appreciation for the usual support and cooperation being enjoyed from the agency in the discharge of their duties.

“We will  enhance smooth execution of our work especially with regard to curbing the menace of drugs abuse,” he said.
