Ustadh Yekeen while delivering lecture at 2019 Islamic Vacation Course organised by MSSNLagos at  Noforija, Epe said that negative use of the brain leads to cyber crime, which is a deception.

“And deception in Islam leads to hell,” he added.

Ustadh Yekeen who doubles as the Counsellor of Bolade Junior Grammar, Oshodi, Lagos said this while explaining the concept of ‘Protecting the brain; a case study of cyber crime.’

According to him, “scholars classified deception as a key feature of cyber crime /Yahoo Yahoo. Cyber crime is a deception in Islam and comes with punishment. The prophet said whoever deceives others will go to hell fire.”

He narrated the story of a woman who added water to a milk in the life of Umar to strengthen his position that ‘deceiving others’ leads to hell.

He concluded the one hour presentation by urging the delegates to shun cyber crime in all forms and use their brain effectively as Islam frowns against deception, which is a key feature of cyber crime.
