National Higher Institutions Convention Of Muslim Students (NHICOMS) is currently holding at Lagos State University (LASU) with over 200 delegates.

NHICOMS is a programme organized by MSSN B Zone. It is an annual programme which comprises colleges of education, polytechnics and universities in Southern Nigeria.

This year’s edition comes up between 28-31(Thursday – Sunday) of July(4 days) and the venue is Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, Lagos State.

Among the activities for this year’s edition are Qur’an Competition, Debate, Quiz Competition, and Paper Presentation.

The theme of the convention, ‘Excellence, Morality and Spirituality: The Meeting Point’, is expected to be delivered by Prof. M. A. Bidmos of the University of Lagos and Prof. AbdulKareem Bunyamin of the Federal University of Technology, Akure.

During the formal opening on Saturday (tomorrow), many dignataries including the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Idiat Adebule; Vice Chancellor of LASU, Prof. AbdulAkeem Fagbohun; Shayhk AbdulHafiz Abou and National Amir of MSSN, Mallam Jameel Muhammad among others.
