Rafatdeen Islamic Organization has honoured Prince Yisa Oyegbade with an Award of Excellence.

The recipient, who is the father of the Chairman of the correspondent Chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists in Osun State, got the award during the 30th anniversary of the organization which took place at the Osogbo City Hall.

According to the founder of the organisation, Alhaja Sheidat Fatimah, the recipient got the award for his contributions to humanity, particularly the propagation of Islam.

While speaking, Prince Oyegbade lauded Alhaja  Fatimah and the entire members of the organisation for their commitment to Islam and  determination to nurture the group since the last 30 years.

He note that the award would motivate him to rededicate himself to the service to humanity and promotion of Islam.

 He also promised that he would not relent in doing good. 
The event was attended by top Muslim clerics including the Chief Imam of Osogbo, Sheikh Musa Animasahun and the Chief Imam of Aayegbami Central Mosque, Alhaji Nasirudeen Adewale among others.
