THE SCENE BEHIND THE SCENE ON HIJAB RIGHTS IN SOUTHWEST NIGERIA.

Today, I would tell you what might be difficult to accept on Hijab struggle in Nigeria, especially in the South West. The politicians , including the Muslims amongst them have seen hijab right as a negotiating tool during election campaigns  to get the Muslims support. They wrap their negotiations on it as if Hijab is no more a human right issue and that they are doing the Muslim community a favour.
This is the reality. Hijab is a right that is entrenched in the Nigeria constitution. We should stop listing hijab to the politicians as one of the things the Muslim community needs. It is a right. And I hope  this ‘shit’ would end soon.
