As the preparation continues, to mark Ta’awun 20 years of struggle on Palestinian liberation, in a 2-day visit, by the Executive Director of World Assembly of Muslim Youth(WAMY) in Nigeria, Sheikh El-shamy Noshi Shamy, to the national headquarters of the Jama’at Ta’awunil Muslimeen in Iwo, under the leadership of Sheikh Daood Imran Molaasan, for a Dawah training programme, the Director encouraged the Jamah to be focused on its goal and never for once be distracted by a petty issue that is ordained on anyone struggling on the path of liberation.
He encouraged the organisation to be watchful and never assigned any position of authority to anyone who has not passed through series of tests and programmes to ascertain his commitment to the goal and aspiration of the organisation. He said doing something contrary to that always has negative effects on the organisation.
In his own remarks, Sheikh Ahmad explained the importance of having Usrah (group of study circle) in Islamic movement. He said in the formation of the family, ta’aruf (knowing each other), tafahum (understanding each other) and takaful (helping and caring for each other) are the three pilars of the usrah system which will assist in strengthen the organisation.
The founder and National President of the organisation, Sheikh Daood Imran Molaasan expressed his appreciation to the Sheikhs for staying with the truth despites tin of lies brought to them by the most dangerous people among the Muslims to tarnish his image and that of the organisation. While reiterating his support for Palestinian cause, he encouraged all the members and all the departments within the organisation to get themselves prepared for the big event slated for 12th, 13th, and 14th of May, 2017 to mark Ta’awun 20 years struggle for Palestinian liberation.
