FROM THE MIMBAR WITH ABDUR-RASHEED ADEOYE

Allah alone deserves all forms of praises and exaltations. He is the sovereign Lord whose mighty cannot be quantified. May He shower His unrestricted bliss on the noble soul of our leader, Muhammad and all sincere believers till eternity, Amin.

“And say: Truth has come and falsehood has vanished. Surely! Falsehood is ever bound to vanish” as said by Allah in Q17:81 shows that no matter the number of years falsehood had reign, when the truth appears, it shall overwhelm the falsehood and alas! falsehood disappears.

This natural tussle had been an old struggle between white and black. The creation of Adam [AS] and his overwhelming knowledge as well as obedience to Allah made Iblees’ knowledge and arrogance culminate in the wrath of Allah and his extradition from among the Angels.

Noah [AS] was not spared in the battle between falsehood and truth when he called his community to the oneness of Allah, morning and night, collectively and individually yet, the nature of their falsehood was overwhelming that he was stoned, insulted among other maltreatments . Eventually, he overcame them with the blessing of the Ark and safety when the wrath of Allah descended on the unjust community.

Ibrahim [AS] had combats with falsehood during his era as well. He was condemned to be burnt alive just because he was on the path of truth by not following others to the idolatry festivals. However, it was even in the blasting furnace that his victory started. He once recounted that he had never felt enjoyment like the one he felt when he was in the fire. He was eventually seen leaving the fire without being burnt at all. This paved more ways for truth to prevail as some accepted his call and also became ardent worshippers of Allah.

Musa versus Fir’aun was another episode of this cohesive battle between sanity and vanity. Fir’aun reigned for decades in punishing the Israelites but the arrival of Musa ended not only the sufferings of the Banu Israil but also gave them freedom even though they were never grateful for this favour of Allah on them Q2:49-62

Muhammad [SAW] faced this challenge from the beginning of his prophetic mission till he had his last breath. The falsehood he faced expanded as his propagation grew. Starting from his immediate clan, Abu Lahb was a staunch enemy while the people of Quraish never spared him and his followers in boycott, torments and eventually in battles. The entire world also conspired against him in the battle of Ahzab, when the Jews, Christians and pagans cooperated to fight his sanitized path till the end.

Alas! Allah granted him victory at the end. He did not only conquer Makkah but also was accepted as the greatest man that ever lived on the third planet of the solar system. [Michael Hart]

Hence, no matter how far vice has gone, it takes only a second for virtue to leapfrog it. I will therefore want to implore my dear brethren in Islam and all advocate of Justice to be steadfast in their quest for justice, for Allah shall grant them victory at the end. It might look delayed but eventually the promise of Allah is victory to the sincere and devoted advocates of Justice and truthfulness as He said, Oh! You who believe! If you help the cause of Allah, He will help you, and make your foothold firm. Q 47:7

Join MSSN Lagos State Area Unit under the leadership of Ma’llam Saeed Ashafa to give glorifications to Allah for the victory of Hijab permissibility in Lagos State schools. This is a long overdue battle ever since the creation of the schools themselves because Islam is not considered at all when designing the school uniforms of the secondary students by the colonial masters. You can’t really blame them; they were Christians who didn’t have the required accolade for the hijab especially at that level. But Alhamdulilah, the same constitution formulated by these same colonialists had given a provision for freedom to practice one’s religion.

Alhamdulilah, truthfulness is here and falsehood eventually vanished after four years of court case in Lagos State, Alhamdulilah! Though the next thing is to let the students know the significance of the hijab and the virtues attached to it which the leadership of the society is working on now, in sha Allah.

The winners of One-day Governor and commissioners in Lagos State was celebrated at the ongoing Holiday Training Course on Saturday-23rd July, 2016 at Homat Comprehensive College, Ikorodu the venue of the camp organized by MSSN Lagos State Area Unit.

Remember, Allah had promise relief after every hardship in Q 94:5-6. Therefore, every hardship being faced in life shall always be compensated with relief and happiness.

May Allah ease all our affairs for and grant us relief after every hardship of our lives and also grant all those propagating Islam an overwhelming victory in earnest over all forces of falsehood combating them.

وَإِنَّ جُندَنَا لَهُمُ الْغَالِبُونَ
And that Our hosts, they verily would be the victors.
Surah As-Saaffat:173:

You should know that the tougher the battle, the bigger the trophy.
