Hours after his inauguration, Bosun Tijani, the minister of communications, innovation, and digital economy, has resume duty.
iWitness reports that President Tinubu swore in 45 ministers on Monday at the banquet hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja which Tijani was one of them.
Tijani spoke to the staff in a meeting with the leaders of the ministry’s agencies on Monday in the afternoon to support the policies of the Tinubu administration and fight for the advancement of the country.
In addition to promising to build on the successes so far achieved in the ministry, he made a commitment to develop policies that would completely restructure the sector. He also vowed to work effectively with important sector partners.

As Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, Tijani took over from Prof. Isa Pantami.
Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Galaxy Backbone, Nigerian Postal Service (NPS), National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), and Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited are among the agencies under the ministry.
