PIETY goes beyond prayers but being dutiful to orphans, the poor and those who seek need for it.
These were the words of Ustadh Sulaimon ADEWALE during a tefsir session at the on going 102nd Islamic Vacation Course of MSSN LAGOS STATE Area Unit held at the Human Capital Development Centre, Noforija, Epe.
Ustadh Adewale stated that Piety is important as Muslims need to radiate the blessings of Allah to those who are in need of it.
In his message, He added that Islam encourages equality in our acts and deeds.
Adewale while speaking on the essence of piety mentioned that sacrifice is beyond meat and blood as explained in the quran. Rather, it involves being dutiful to family members and exercising a high level of patience in any circumstance.
He added that Muslims need to believe in Allah, His angels, His books, the last day and also destiny. This according to the him will allow people see the beauty of Islam in us.
The tefsir of Suratul Baqarah verse 177 to 182 also talks about being just, keeping promises, inheritance among other things.
