The veteran actor, Mr Afeez Oyetoro, commonly known as Saka, who’s also a lecturer in Theater Department at the Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education has admonished the muslim students on academic excellence.

He gave the advice during a parade held as part of the MSSN AOCOED annual Dawah week.

He advised the students that they should not only work on their spirituality but to also ensure that they work towards academic excellence.

He further stated that “Muslims are leaders which make them role models. As role models, it becomes imperative on them to exhibit good characters that are in accordance with the Qur’an and acceptable norms in the society”.

While ending his admonition, he prayed for the students.

The programme started with a procession, whereby the Muslim students in AOCOED held a rally to create awareness about Islam and the week.

The Muslim Students’ Society Of Nigeria Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education branch started their annual Dawah week programme today, August 23, 2019.

After the admonition, the Muslim students continued their procession, singing Nasheeds as they march to the School of Science where they met the ex-Dean of Students Affairs, Mr Bajulaye A.A.

Bajulay expressed his love for the organisation (MSSN) and commended the manner at which the females dressed.

He said, “It’s the most modest dress in Adeniran Ogunsanya college of education.”

He prayed for Allah’s guidiance and protection towards them and encouraged them to continue the good work.
