Renowned international preacher, Sheikh Muyideen Bello has reminded Muslims that trials are part of life and should always be expected, adding that they are means Allah tests the faith of believers.
Sheikh Bello was speaking as a guest lecturer at the formal inauguration of the new National Executive Committee members of Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society, held at the Lagos Secretariat Mosque, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos, recently.
The Cleric who was injured alongside his team of reciters in an accident penultimate week along Lagos Ibadan expressway stated it was one of the trials that Muslims especially those carrying out the work of God would face, adding that it was not right to attribute it to evil caused by man.
“Some Muslims do not submit totally to Allah, they do not show eeman during tribulations, rather they attribute their situation to witchcraft. “When things happen, a good Muslim commits everything to Allah and will not attribute it to the handiwork of somebody somewhere.”
He explained that the five daily prayers are not enough to make one righteous, adding that unflinching faith, truth and patience are the three qualities that can lead the Muslim to righteousness and success in the hereafter.
Earlier, the Acting Chief Missioner of the society, Sheikh AbdulAzeez Onike while presiding over a special prayer for the new NEC members, stated that the task ahead of the new officials which include building of NASFAT Islamic Center at Aseseland, Mowe, Ogun State, taking Fountain University to the next level as well as the growth of Tafsan Investments have been committed to God, praying Allah’s guidance on the new officials.
The President, Engr Kamil Bolarinwa receiving the Flag of the society sought the cooperation and support of the members adding that all NASFAT fund will be judiciously used.
