A young Muslim woman, Rahmah Oshoala, who came from her humble beginnings to graduating with distinction in Big Data Analytics, Masters of Science, University of Derby, in the United Kingdom, has shared the story of her academic breakthrough.
Oshoala, who shared her story on her social media timeline (Facebook), has been identified as hallmark of success, attracting outpouring commendations from well-wishers.
The young lady recalled days when she used to hawk rice for her mother during her secondary school days.
Despite the challenges of her early life, she persevered and went on to achieve multiple educational milestones, including a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and Statistics, Nsukka, a Master of Science in Big Data Analytics, and a Master of Business Administration.
“I have achieved the following milestones: – Diploma – Advanced Diploma – Bachelor of Science – Masters in Business Administration – Master of Science
Alhamdulillah,” she wrote.
iWitness News reports Oshoala’s journey, which began in Holy Child College, Ikoyi, where she juggled her studies with working as a rice hawker to help support her family.
After graduation, she enrolled in a diploma program, and then went on to pursue her undergraduate degree.
She bagged Master in Big Data Analytics, with a distinction from University of Derby, MBA in finance, and investment, Ahmadu Bello University, and a bachelor degree in Computer Science and Statistics, from University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
Despite the challenges of balancing her studies with work and family life, she emerged as a successful lady against all odds.
