Actress Elizabeth Aishat Anjorin popularly known as “Liz Anjorin” has warned fans not to address her as Alhaja.

In a video via social platform, she rained fire on anyone who addresses her as an ‘Alhaja’.

She launched an attack on unyielding fans who chose to address her with the Islamic titles she wholeheartedly embraced as a Muslim.

The actress, who has gone on pilgrimage to Makkah on two occasions, has opted to sever connections with Islam and Muslims, having undergone intense online bullying and harassment.

According to her, this decision stems from the perceived lack of backing from fellow Muslims during her ordeals.

Lizzy said: “Don’t ever add Alhaja to my name or address me as Iya Adinni again, I did not see any Muslim defend me on social media”.

Liz once said in an interview that “I adopted the Muslim name, Aishat, and that’s all. My father was a Christian, while my mother was a Muslim. I only decided to follow my mother’s path”.

“But as a celebrity and entertainer, I can wear anything to showcase my talent, which is work-related. I don’t need to write it on my forehead that I’m a Muslim.”
